Announcement: Cancellation of the JOOLA 24 Hours of Pickleball

It is with great disappointment that we announce the cancellation of the JOOLA 24 Hours of Pickleball, which was scheduled for August 30–31, 2025 at Pickleball Virginia Beach.

​

Refunds are being processed today, 08/20/2025.

​

This was not an easy decision, but after careful consideration, we believe it is the best one at this time. Several factors contributed, including construction delays with our new roof, the challenges of hosting on a major holiday weekend, and the overlap with the opening week of Virginia Beach schools. Together, these circumstances made it clear that moving forward with the event this year would not provide the experience our players and community deserve.

We sincerely apologize to all who were planning to participate. Registration refunds will be going out today. In addition, we are preparing a special compensation package as a token of our appreciation for your support and enthusiasm. More details will follow soon.

If you have already made non-refundable travel plans, we encourage you to still come and play at Pickleball Virginia Beach. Our 44 courts will be open and ready for you to enjoy — and you can relish in the fact that you won’t be playing through the night this time!
